Re: Valve adjustments

I used each tick long or shot as one graduation. Like you said the directions are not clear but using one tick as one graduation seems to have worked fine.

85 elite 150 throttle response

I have a weird problem that happened last night that I can’t recreate again. So the scooter was running good when suddenly I noticed that there was poor throttle response when I was moving. Going 35mph I would give it gas and nothing for about 1 second, than it would get going. It continued to do th...

Re: More on HOT wheel honda

Can I determine by the plug color if its running lean? It looks perfect with a grey/brown tint. The temp gauge stays in the middle to a little above middle and I have flushed the rad recently. Re: More on HOT wheel honda

Well, I took everything apart, bearings are fine. I've done some things like take off the front carb access panel and take off the front side fairings to allow more airflow. The wheel doesn’t seem quite as hot, but still 189 degrees at the tire bead. It seems hot but I guess that’s just how it is. :|

Re: More on HOT wheel honda

This might be what's wrong with mine(elite 150). I've eliminated the exaust gasket being the problem. The wheel/tire gets HOT. I can smell it at red lights. Much more so after a strech of going 50 to 60 mph The reason I think it might be the bearings Is because it has always made a rrrRRRrrrRRRrrrRR...
