Re: wet roads

Funny, until I read Donny's post I didn't realize that I broke the rear turn signal. Now I have to find a new lens cover for the signal. I have a spare signal but it doesn't have the lens cover.

Re: What would cause this??

I have put on almost 1,000 km the last 2 weeks so yes I guess I have been pushing it hard. So how bad is the clutch issue? Is it still safe to ride it?

Re: What would cause this??

it actually feels like it is pushed forward and then sets back. I will try to keep the trips short for the next few days just to see how it behaves and if it gets any worse.

What would cause this??

I was out riding today and three times when I started from a complete stop I felt the scooter kind of catch right at the begining almost like somebody yanked on the scooter and then let it go. It does not happen every time only on occasion and it has never happened before. Any ideas on what may be c...

Re: CH150 Heats Up Pretty High While Idling

It's a tube that hangs down by where you put the oil in. Just take the cap off and drain out anything that has collected in it and put the cap back on, You should do this on a regular basis.

Re: CH150 Heats Up Pretty High While Idling

My 150 was haveing the same problem with starting and stalling then I realized that you have to drain the crankcase breather periodically. Once I started draining it on a regular basis I nolonger had starting or stalling issues.

Re: Elite 150 Fuel consumption

I checked the airbox on the weekend and thankfully no oil in it!! I disovered that the crankcase breather has a filter on it that should be removed and cleaned then reinstalled so i will do that before I install the new air filter. With any luck it should be smooth sailing for the rest of the season.

Re: Elite 150 Fuel consumption

I always check the oil on the centre stand...found out the problem was that there was a block in the oil line and the airbox was filled with oil. What a mess!! I ordered a new air filter and will install it next week when it comes in. Iin the mean time I am riding without an air filter because the o...

Re: Elite 150 Fuel consumption

I'll change the spark plug, I have one I can put in but I thought that you changed the air filter just before the Mad Bastard. Is it possible that the air filter got clogged when I went down??

Re: Elite 150 Fuel consumption

Okay so the Elite is behaving badly!! A few weeks ago I was going for a ride from Hamilton to Niagra on the Lake so checked the oil level before leaving. The level did not even measure on the dipstick so put put some oil in before I left (to the 3/4 mark on the dip stick). After riding for about 15 ...
