Solved issue of buried batt tender lead. Purchased an Optimate bulkhead lead on Amazon. SAE pigtail plugged in to existing lead under bucket that was installed by a prior owner. That lead was fused and also had SAE end.

How could anyone answer without seeing the wires you are speaking of ? How about attaching some photos with the seat and panels removed ? Once the wires are exposed, you can trace them out and take photos. The thrust of my question was to find out if it was a factory installed SAE connection, not s...

I just purchased a 2007 Vespa 250GTV. Looking at the battery there appears to be battery tender leads connected to the battery. The wires run straight back into the body and disappear.
