so the story continues, went to cottage last nite to take sled in. went to leave home and brake line blew in truck! damm must now take van and trailer. (have to get sled to dealer b4 winter is over) so off eric and i go in van :D getting near cottage and it is snowing pretty good, hit trappers trail and at the big hill after the boat launch i did not make it up :!: stuck 3/4's up and started to slide backwards until trailer jacked knifed in snow bank stopping me  eric got out and manged to release trailer from hitch. a few seconds later a brake line in the van blew!!! and i lost brakes! started to slide -roll backwards down hill! yelled to eric to get out of way and slid back into the trailer tearing the lights off just missing eric and then smashing off snow banks(thank god they were hard and i did not fall off into forest ):o anyways with no brakes manged to steer back down hill and recover! then helped eric slide trailer back down hill and leave it at boat launch area. the second attempt was just as bad but just barley made it up  i think the speedo was at 140+ at top of hill and i was just crawling and sliding and spinning! well we are at cottage, we warm up and take out fishing gear. i caught a little one.(something good) next day i limp to haliburton ,get brakes fixed, buck fifty not bad? and head to minden and drop off sled.they were nice to let me leave the trailer there,i did not want to bring it home with out lights.just as well because it was ice and wicked winds all the way home a little trailer would have been a nightmare. well all is good now, but quite a overnite trip! now waiting for repair quote on sled :| and fix the bumper things i tore off the van  i need a drink!

Sounds like a blast. One of my new co-workers here in Whistler at Helly Hanson is from Haliburton. She says the snowmobilers take over the town on weekends. It sounds like so much fun. Good to hear the sled is running strong.

Nice....a new ride for the Go Go Mods 8-)

Are you gonna bust out the Go Go trailer too for the rally? I imagine we'll need it. There's like 8 of us going.....most of whom need rides.

well not mine. but my son's fiend"Johny" bought a cart to race. it has a CHETTA 125CC 2STROKE the track ordered 40 of these carts under "there spec's" for his type of racing.they are all going back on recall. over 50% have motor problems and the rest are failing in other areas. Johny's motor has not blown but every 3 laps some sort of failure? greed ?

Wow $42! I was expecting it to be way more than that....you'll save that back in no time. I always wanted to have a few different tires for my Ruck but changing them by hand is such a hassle. I'm looking forward to the pics.

the bead pop is fun! It took me a few tries to get the right amount. I think I ended up using a 5-10 second blast and then I lit it with a flaming paper towl to get about 12" of distance between me and the tire. start small and work up so you don't blow your hair off.
