Vespa Battery Tender Connection Point

I just purchased a 2007 Vespa 250GTV. Looking at the battery there appears to be battery tender leads connected to the battery. The wires run straight back into the body and disappear. (about an inch or so of slack in wires). Can anyone tell me if this is indeed a tender connection and where the plug might be?
Thanks

That scooter does not come with a factory battery tender connection. Someone put that in there. Look for the other side possibly under the frame, perhaps?

How could anyone answer without seeing the wires you are speaking of ? How about attaching some photos with the seat and panels removed ? Once the wires are exposed, you can trace them out and take photos.

You have a point, but a lot of people have made this modification because of how much of a PITA Vespa made it to get to the battery. There's even videos of this on YouTube, and they all pretty much look alike because of the location of the battery and the owner's taking the path of least resistance.

The thrust of my question was to find out if it was a factory installed SAE connection, not something that a prior owner had installed. Turns out it was installed by the original owner who terminated it beneath the under-seat bucket.

Solved issue of buried batt tender lead. Purchased an Optimate bulkhead lead on Amazon. SAE pigtail plugged in to existing lead under bucket that was installed by a prior owner. That lead was fused and also had SAE end.
