And no, I didn’t break my pinkie…
Yesterday on my ride, my bike rolled over 10,000 miles. Ten grand. Now don’t get me wrong, I bought the bike last October, and it already had 4200 miles on it, so by the time the actual buy-date rolls around, I’ll have pretty close to an even 6K miles in a year. Not bad for a beginner with a 17-mile round-trip commute.
And I even took a few extra miles, coming to the garage at the very beginnings of the evening twilight, to make sure I rolled over that 5th digit on the odometer.
Felt good, though I know there are some mileage juggernauts on this site that would put that number to shame in short order.

Got it May 30th with 2100 miles on it and I just hit 7400… But I do a lot of 300mile rides with my MC.. Usually one or two a month.. I should look at my odometer on the 650 and see how many miles I have since I started riding last October.. Wow.. Come to think of it.. I’ve been riding a year now.. Isn’t this when I’m supposed to crash? *knocks on wood* Forget I said that.. Keep up the riding!
