Is this for a Honda , Suzuki, Yamaha or Toyota ?
Not just providing the Brand, Model and year, but also listing the part number is a very good idea.

In a different post you ask about a side stand for an Aero 125, if you need a seat lock cylinder for THAT bike, you can get one at your local Honda Dealer.

If you need the cable or latch, a used part seems to be your only option.
