Holy Speed

Post by tiny »

Recently I replaced the damaged variatior in my '01 Vino with a new Stage6 kit never had a chance to take it out for a test ride till last night and Boy Howdy what a jump in top speed. Before it topped out at 71KPH(old damaged variatior/worn out rollers) and with the new kit in place I hit a top speed of 85KPH! according to my GPS(Speedometer only goes to 60KPH).
I knew it could go fast but holy crap 80+KPH on flat ground(relatively) with no tail or head wind(slight cross wind 2-3KPH) talk about a sleeper

That's a Vino 50? Wow. That's awesome. Even 71km/hr is awesome. My Ruckus does about 65.

Shocked the hell out of me. I was working off of the Super8 you were riding in the Mad Bastard last year and you were doing a constant 70+KPH so when I hit a possible 84KPH I was thinking to myself no bloody way I was reading my GPS wrong! I could get the map tracking on to my computer but got my distance and time.
There for distance driven(8.22km) divided by time(9min 40sec) multiply by 100 equals 84.5KPH(+-1KPH).
I'm still shocked
