Okay so I’ve had an issue with running to lean at wot. Scooter is a 84’ Riva Ca50 and it will cruise and then when I hit wide open throttle it cuts out. I checked the float and its actually Spot on at 15mm as the service manual said. I started messing with the mixture screw instead and found that the more I turn it clockwise (allowing more fuel than air) it runs better and I can go wot without it dying but once I hit 25 mph it cuts out. I have the mixture screw turned clockwise all the way. Idles great, cruises great, let’s me go wot but cuts out at about 25 mph. Help me understand what’s going? Also I checked the float bowl fuel level with clear tubing and it’s right in spec.
